I've plugged, unplugged, reversed, you name it reverb tank as well as foot switch and no one is home. Just nothing. Tube heats up so I guess that means it's working? Tank is riveted closed. Any repair possible? Help. Amp sounds wonderful except for non existent reverb.

Is the return alive?
Hi there,
first off, the single 12AX7 tube has nothing to do with the reverb. The reverb drive- and recovery stages are solid state. My money is on the reverb tank, more specifically broken leads by the transducers or by the RCA jacks inside the tank.
If you switch the reverb on and turn the reverb to '1' and connect an RCA cord to the 'return' jack, do you get a noise when touching the tip of the other end of the RCA cable?
