I'm about to turn 60... in 1981 I bought an HD150.. I sold it in 1984 for more power by buying a Trace Elliot mega stack... since then, whenever I'm asked 'what was you favourite bass tone'... HD150.
Last week one came up in really good condition about 20 miles from me... now if you ask what's my favvy bass tone.. MY HD150 :)
It has a new quad of JJ Teslas and sounds really good... Cryos call but so far I'm deaf...
Then, i had an Ibanez Musician 924 DS, currently a G&L L2500... also wish I'd done that years ago...still, living is learning :)
