Hi, I am new to this forum and i need help!
had my 110 rd 50 since 1981 and love it.
After some years using it, i thought i need a different sound,so I bought a boogie, startet building tube amps.... and so on. 3 years ago i took the rd50 out of the cupboard and! there was the sound i was looking for all the time!
But now it starts to make crackling and dying noises.
After all I know about electrolytic Capacitors, they should be replaced after some time..
so this is what im am up to
(I bought new tubes as well, but will replace caps at first)
my question:
C42 und C37 are rated 150MFD/50V
can i replace them with 220MFD/50 V?
