Got an 11/80 RD50 I recapped and cleaned up, the Clean side Volume pot is dead silent from 0 to 1, then abruptly comes on just past one and behaves normally the rest of the way up the dial. Wiring looks stock, cleaned the pot from back and shaft side with contact cleaner, no difference. Worn initial part of track requiring pot replacement? FWIW, the Limiter side Volume pot ramps up nice and smoothly.
Gonna loosen the pot from the front control panel to see if maybe there is too much pressure pulling the wiper from the track. May disassemble to see if there is just some gunk in there.
