Here's a shot of my Music Man 212-75 which I bought new in 1980. At the music store, I had them set it up next to a new Fender Pro Reverb for comparison, and the Music Man held a slight edge in sound. I haven't been disappointed with the tone, and the extras such as half-power switch and phaser only added to the rockability. It is all original--it even has the original tubes. I'm a non-pro blues/rock jammer, using a 1964 Epiphone Crestwood Deluxe; 1978 Ovation Deacon; 1981 Gibson ES-335; 1983 Gibson Futura; or 2002 Fender '72 Thinline Reissue. |
