Hi, I have an unusual beast here. Somebody took a Music Man combo and made a head and cab out of it. Really convienient I must say. I need to identify it. I see that it has 4 Sovtek EL34s in it, as well as one JBL 15" speaker. I have included phtos to help, if you guys can identify it. I have had a look around a bit, but not found the exact amp on the net or in photos/catalougs. Am I correct in thinking that this is a 115HD-130-EVM from maybe around 1974/1975? Sounds like a dream anyway! I love this thing...any idea what it's worth? (pretend it was in the original combo form in good condition). i think your right, unless its a hd130 from a 2 10 or 1 12 or the reverb head. its not the non reverb head chassis. its not 74/75 because it doesnt have the 12ax7 phase inverter. its late seventies.

Cool, thx for the reply! How do you know it's late '70s? What are the signs I should look for? (I'm totally new to musicman) Does anyone know how much it may be worth, if it were in it's original form? What year would that be; are we talking 76, or say 79? BTW, I was told before I bought it that it was originally in that form, with the one 15" speaker, so I guess that means that it's 115HD-130-EVM.

With the 4 power tubes and the power switch in the rear, you are looking at an HD-150 Reverb. |
