You mean Blacke!! It's Clapton to the right in the picture with the HAT on! I think guy in first pic might be Legs Larry Smith with at ukulele. He was the announcer and opener (1 song only). It could be the 1974 tour where Townsend jammed at several concerts. Ren� Denmark | ||

Hi Discographer, Thanks for the additional info. But as for the second photograph, I'm fully aware that Eric Clapton is the one with the hat on. The outer rim of his sunburst 56 stratocaster (brownie) is black. I know it's hard to see with the angle of the picture, but if you look closely around the pickguard the color is brown (and not just a brownish reflection from the glare).  Paul | ||
