does anyone know where I can find a pair of octal sockets (either NOS or same type) for my musicman amp? I've tried Belden, and NOS fender sockets and neither are the right color or composition. I'd like to have a pair of the originals to put back on my chassis. at the moment I have replaced one with a Belden socket and it looks like whale drek beside the original. if anyone is interested in a trade, I have two NOS fender sockets that I'd gladly swap for a pair of the correct (reddish-brown, American Phenolic _____ Company) sockets. ed s. | ||

thanks for the tip, mike. but I was too slow in seeing your note. the red-brownish ones are all sold out (forever, unfortunately)....so I guess I'll have to keep on the trail of the elusive beasties until I can bag a pair of them for my amp. thx ed s | ||

Just posted it yesterday! Sorry I didn't suggest it earlier but I've been out of service for a while. You might try ampwares too. He has some cool stuff sometimes but his service leaves something to be desired. |
