Hi there, this may seem like a silly question, but are the 10-32x3.5" chassis strap screws (case in point HD-150) ordinary hardware store screws or are they special in any way? Are the Fender ones that CEDIST sell the right ones? For some reason I haven't had to replace that particular screw before. Cheers, Lars Mikael

I don't think that I've ever seen them at the hardware store. I did look for some similar for fender amp some time ago but ended up having to order them from a jobber that handles fender hardware. I assume that they are a job run thing and handle only by the specialty guys.

Not to be a nitpicker, but I think the chassis strap screws are 'oval' as opposed to 'pan' head. However, kanebridge don't have the 3?" length of the oval, only of the pan. Go figure. I finally smartened up and fired off an e-mail to CEDIST. -Lars Verholt

Ok got a reply back from CEDIST (wholesale dept of tubesandmore.com) - the Fender screws are 8-32 not 10-32. Here's the interesting part: Kurt said he would look into if they could start selling replacement straps and screws for MM. Naturally I gave him lot of encouragement! I will post back if I hear more.
