Hi I have a 210Rd combo and i love the way it sounds the speakers it has in there it states here on the website (in the model chart) that theyre just 2-10 inch ceramic speakers does any one know who theyre made by or any speakers that sound similar cause im looking into possibly getting a differant speaker cabinet for my other amp and i want to get a sound close to that of my music man

If you look on the outer edge of the back side of the speaker frame(usually) you will find a code that is like 67-XXXXX or something like that. That's the speaker code. That will tell you who made the speakers. 67 should be eminence if I remember correctly. Gppgle speaker codes and you'll get the whole list. MIke.

thanks for the info, i looked on the back of the speakers and i couldnt seem to find it, do they need to be removed in order to be found?

Sometimes they are printed on the bottom wher you can't see them and in gold or dark brown so they are hard to see. Mike.

Cool thanks looks like Ill have to try to unscrew them since the reverb box at the bottom is blocking the bottom side of the speaker

Ok so i unscrewed all of the screws from the speaker but it wont budge its like i never unscrewed them at all, are the speakers held on with some sort of adhesive also? or are they also attached from the other side?

Also i noticed a print on the acutall cone of the speaker it states: 41-L-981 and i cant read the rest cause the bar gets it the way.

You should find a 6 digit code somewhere on the frame. The first digits show who made it. Here's the list: Credence 117 Pyle 1098 Rola 285 Eminence 67 CTS 137 EV 649 Oxford 465 Altec/Lansing 391 Utah 328 Quam 270 Jensen 220 WeberVST 1279 Cleveland 433

ok thanks, looked all over and still cant seem to find it, i looked with a flashlight all around it but i cant see anything at all, does that number on the speaker cone mean anything at all, i really need to be able to remove the speaker to read it, since theres not a whole lot of room back there, ive removed the reverb box and the back panel and still cant seem to find anything. |
